What if the family system, its subsystem and members which formed the basic unit of our society could become peaceful hubs of positive attitudes, appreciation, productive intra and interpersonal relationship critical to social peace and development?
What if we could significantly decrease hatred, bitterness, backbiting, trouble, pain, hurts, abuse and dissatisfaction in relationships and increase the opportunity for unity, love and harmony in our homes and communities?
A strong nation needs strong families. It is unfortunate the extent to which we seem to have lost the sense of connection between the family life and peace, wellbeing and prosperity of society as a whole. Besides being a basic social unit of society, family is something we live. Family and friendship is a foundation for security, stability and support.
If we can appreciate the contribution of the family to our society and give it the needed attention, we would have been proud of ourselves as social leaders.
