I am glad you are here. On this site, I am going to be sharing with you the wisdom of God, my professional knowledge, the skills and the practical approach to help you smile in this broken and conflicting world. Let me tell you a little bit about who I am and why I know you can smile again.
My name is Emmanuel Kojo HOPESON I am a Minister of the Gospel and have seen many lives changed through the power and the wisdom of God, I am a Professional Counsellor a Certified Professional Mediator, Conflict and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Expert and Trainer. My understanding of the anointing of God, mission and passion is to proclaim good news to the poor. To bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Christian Counseling (Psychology) from a joint program of the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) and International Theological Seminary-Florida USA. I am an Advanced Certified, Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and a Professional Clinical Member of the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) USA. I am a Certified Temperament Counselor, Advanced Certified Death and Grief, Crisis and Abuse Therapist. I practice Professional Counseling in Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Domestic Violence Intervention and Restorative Therapy.
I am also Professionally Certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Mediation, Workplace and Organizational Conflict Management all from the Pulse Institute, Calgary, Canada and Mediation Training International, Kansas, USA. I hold Masters and Bachelor’s Degrees in Theological Studies from the Vision University, California, USA.
I am the founder and the lead consultant of the Centre for Peace and Reconciliation (a faith-based mission, outreach and a Professional Life Management, Mediation and Conflict Resolution Organization).
Over the years, I have helped countless individuals work through their life challenges, thousands of families and hundred thousands of children smiled. Hundreds of traditional rulers and community leaders have enjoyed peace and development in their areas because of my balanced life-changing methods.
I have researched and developed the distinct CounsMed® methodology, which is a revolutionary hybrid form of counseling and mediation to enhance the work of other professionals. My programs have benefited some Government Institutions, Directors, Departments and their heads as well as Corporate Institutions, the Clergy, Legal Practitioners, the Ghana Police Service and Ghana Arm Forces.
I have been privileged to also contribute to peace in a wider range in our continent by developing and teaching some heads of various government security agencies, Information Counselling and Referral Services (ICRS) in Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) through the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre in Ghana, to help rebel groups in conflict zones to reintegrate into the civil society.
My passion to see change and healthy society has lead me to share my knowledge and skills as a guest lecturer in ADR Master’s program at the Faculty of Law, University of Ghana Legon as well as serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Pentecost University. I have made several presentations and my voice is heard on-air educating on different life management and social issues. I have authored the favorite textbook and professional guide ‘Understanding Human Behaviour in Conflict Resolution’ used in academics and by professionals in counseling and conflict resolution.
